SZCZECIŃSKA SZKOŁA WYŻSZA COLLEGIUM BALTICUM, founded in 2000, is continuously ranked as one of the best private universities in northern Poland. It is characterised by great human capital and huge development potential.
It provides young adults with knowledge comprising many fields so that they can receive an interdisciplinary education offering them a better chance on the difficult labor market, both in Poland and internationally. Current educational offer includes the following faculties: educational science, national security and IT at BA and MA levels, as well as post-graduate studies in teaching methodology, business and management.
The institution’s mission is to provide excellence in education as well as attractiveness and marketability of the proposed programs. It ensures the development of the students’ intellectual potential and shapes their interpersonal, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills. It develops discipline, creative thinking, effectiveness, flexibility and entrepreneurship.
Therefore, Collegium Balticum plays an important role on the local educational market in terms of additional thematic courses for disadvantaged groups, i.e disabled people, people from socially and economically disadvantaged areas, unqualified adults, among others.
Furthermore, the College cooperates with different public and private institutions in developing and sharing knowledge about politics and democracy: NGOs, municipality and state security services. CB also collaborates with Potes association, whose mission is to build a civil society by popularising the idea of volunteering, non-formal education and active citizenship, creating proper conditions for participation in public life. The university also cooperates with EDS organisation, the main goal of which is to bring the European Union closer to the citizens of West Pomerania region, increase their awareness of the possibility of participating in decision-making processes at the highest level, transferring public opinion to European institutions.
Peyami Safa Secondary School was set up in 1990 in south-eastern part of Bursa, one of the most populated and industrious cities of Turkey. As a public educational institution, we have 1987 pupils and 112 teachers, 4 vice-principals and a principal. Our parental profile is upper-middle class educated.

As one the best secondary schools in the city, we are aware of the importance of critical thinking and competence-based learning in education. Competence-based learning is a matter among the issues that The Ministry of National Education prioritises. In this context, this year the ministry started a project in order to help teachers promote critical thinking skills of students. The ministry served a great content of competence-based questions that requires critical thinking instead of memorizing knowledge.
IES “Legio VII” is a Public Secondary School located in Spain’s northwest city of León and built on a piece of land where Roman legions once lived (the backyard where younger students play during breaks retains the original part of a Roman wall erected around 2000 thousand years ago, making it the most historical yard of all Spanish high schools).
It has been providing public education from the year 1982 and it currently targets two levels: Compulsory Secondary Education (1/2/3/4 ESO) and Sixth Form (1/2 Bachillerato). It also develops a Distance-Learning Programme for adult people, being the only authorised school in the Province of León to offer this type of education at both levels.
The school’s educational philosophy is influenced by this diversity of social backgrounds and levels, which entails dealing with of a diversity of needs within the classroom groups and with the subsequent complexity of the teaching-learning process implementation. Consequently, the school
prioritises addressing cross-curricular issues such as social/educational inclusion, interculturality and critical thinking in the overall teaching-learning process.

Since 2010 there are over 2000 students that have benefited from the alliance between a team of trainers, that are distinguished for being experienced professionals in the work market, and a diversity of last generation equipments. Such alliance has allowed our students to develop their future by integrating them in real projects through a permanent contact with several partnerships, protocols or projects which provided them experience in the work market.
The constant search for innovation and for improving the conditions given to our students has took ETIC_Algarve to give a larger stride in Europe, be it through Erasmus+ Internships, with a 3 month duration in several European cities, or through the establishment of pedagogical protocols that allow students to obtain Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework, through the progression of their studies in European Higher Schools.
‘MateiBasarab’ National IT College was founded in September 1914, the official reason being the large number of children in the surrounding villages that could not be educated appropriately because of the small number of teachers. The founder of the school is Ion Nisipeanu, a pedagogy teacher, an outstanding intellectual who wrote many articles in his field and also the author of textbooks for primary schools. He was able to gather very special people, mainly young teachers who were willing to fulfill their dreams working for this school.
During the recent years, our high school has been the perfect environment for training thousands of students. All their outstanding results in exams, contests, school Olympics, national and international cultural events stand as proofs for all these remarkable

GLAFKA s.r.o. is Czech based educational and consulting institution located in Prague. It focuses on knowledge and innovation transfer in a field of lifelong learning, further education and non formal learning.GLAFKA has a strong focus on empowerment of disadvantaged groups, including 60+, handicapped and socially excluded persons.
One of their main aims is to increase employability of target groups through personal and vocational development, bridging the gaps between generations, genders and nationalities as well participating in activities friendly to the environment and sustainable development.
Main area of activities covers development of state-of-the-art teaching methods (storytelling) for supporting citizens’ key competencies, strengthening critical thinking as well ICT literacy of different target group.
Located at north region of the Portugal, near Viseu, Agrupamento de Escolas de Penalva do Castelo is a Public Secondary School group which provides mainly education for underaged students. Regardless AEPC also provides education access for other age ranges through short curricular education in areas line accounting, languages, and similar.
Over the years of activity, the School has updated its action paradigm, adapting its structure to the new challenges of society, training young people with the transmission of essential skills for entry into Higher Education and/or integration into the labor market . The school has preserved and improved its relationship with local partners, acting with a sense of responsibility and openness to a community increasingly involved in planning educational dynamics. Families are called to participate in the journey of their students, and today they are represented on the General School Council, through the Parents' Association.
